Penalties

Written by Jennifer Geithner

When you apply for a campaign, you enter into a binding agreement with the brand. This means you are obligated to create and deliver the content as specified in the briefing.

If you fail to follow the guidelines outlined in the briefing, Refluenced may issue so-called penalties. These are different types of measures applied depending on the severity of the violation.

Warning (14 days)

A warning may be issued for the following reasons:

  • No content created

  • Repeatedly not responding to brand messages / ignoring communication in the chat

  • Posting late without prior agreement

  • Failure to follow the briefing

  • Inappropriate behavior in the chat

This warning will be visible both to the brand and on your profile.

Temporary suspension (14 days)

A temporary suspension lasts for 14 days. During this period:

  • it will be shown on your profile

  • you cannot apply for new campaigns

  • you will no longer be recommended to brands as a creator

Possible reasons:

  • No content created

  • Multiple previous warnings

  • Reputational damage or harmful behavior

Permanent suspension

In cases of repeated contract violations, serious breaches, or significant reputational damage, a permanent suspension may be issued. In this case, you will no longer be able to participate in campaigns and will no longer be visible to brands within the network.

šŸ’” Note: Penalties are only issued when contractual obligations are not met. Refluenced ensures that both brands and creators comply with the agreements they have entered into.
